(EESi),a medical imaging and DICOM storage solution provider, is pleased to announce it has officially become a Member Organization of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) International, a non-profit organization focused on interoperable standards development.
IHE is a global initiative by healthcare professionals and industry leaders from the Hospital Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) established to improve the way computer systems in healthcare share information. The goal of IHE is to provide end-users improved access to critical patient and clinical information across all systems within the healthcare delivery network.
Becoming a Member Organization of IHE International further demonstrates EESi's commitment to the healthcare market and its ability to follow industry standards.
“Integration time and costs are decreased dramatically when healthcare systems are developed in accordance with IHE standards,” said Phil Madison, president of EESi. “We look forward to becoming an active participant in IHE International and remain fully committed to implementing the IHE standards within our portfolio of enterprise-level, web-based PACS Archive and integrated connectivity solutions.”
